Editorial & Content Standards
Last updated: June 24, 2026
The articles, guides, and tools on this site are meant to help local business owners make better decisions — not to chase rankings with filler. This page explains how we create and maintain that content and the standards we hold it to.
Who writes this content
Content is produced by Lumen Automations and reviewed by founder Hanna Acar. It reflects hands-on experience building websites, local SEO, and automation systems for Central Valley businesses. Where a guide describes a practice, it describes how we actually approach the work.
Accuracy and sourcing
- No fabricated statistics. We do not invent numbers, survey results, or "industry averages." When we cite a figure, we link to its source; if we can't verify it, we leave it out or describe it qualitatively.
- Tools show their math. Our calculators and assessments compute from the numbers you enter and state their assumptions openly; results are labeled estimates, not guarantees.
- No fake proof. We never publish fabricated testimonials, clients, or results. Example projects are clearly labeled as illustrative until a real, client-approved case study exists.
- Honest claims. We avoid exaggerated promises and unverifiable guarantees, and we don't claim partnerships or certifications we don't have.
Reviews and updates
Guides are reviewed for accuracy before publishing and updated when something changes. Each blog post shows its publication date, and evergreen resources carry a "last updated" date.
Corrections
If you spot something inaccurate or out of date, please tell us — we'll review it and correct it promptly. Reach us via the contact page or support@lumenautomations.com.
Affiliations and disclosure
When we mention third-party platforms we build with or integrate, we describe the relationship plainly (for example, "built using" or "integrates with"). We disclose any material relationship and do not present a vendor relationship as an endorsement.
