Lumen Automations ("Lumen," "we," "us") builds websites, automation, and workflow systems for local businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through lumenautomations.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form, book a call, or email us, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, business name, and a description of what you need.
  • Scheduling information. Calls are booked through Calendly, which collects your name, email, and selected time under its own privacy policy.
  • Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider logs basic request data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font loads.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and discuss your project
  • To schedule and hold calls you've booked
  • To provide and improve our services and this website
  • To send service-related messages about work you've engaged us for

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry or active project. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. Phone numbers collected for texting are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

We use a small number of service providers to operate: website hosting (Vercel), scheduling (Calendly), and email. Each processes only the data needed to perform its function and operates under its own privacy policy.

Data retention

We keep inquiry and project information for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete it. You can request deletion sooner at any time.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to deletion — we honor these requests for everyone, not just California residents. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the entire site. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
